Job description, responsibilities and duties

Are you a self-starter, looking for an exciting opportunity supporting a specific EMEA market(s)? The Market Executive has a remarkably diverse set of responsibilities which include overall ownership of the Reinsurance BU results for these markets, and oversight of the internal and external governance responsibilities for the locations. Given the broad and complex responsibilities, the Market Executive requires an executive "right hand" to whom many of the inherent duties of her role can be delegated, particularly those duties which are internally focused

You have ambitious drive, like juggling many balls at once and are agile, then we are looking for you! You will be the right hand to the Market Executive and support them in achieving their goals but more importantly, getting their region future ready. The teams sit in several locations and you ensure that our client-facing staff gets the support they need to bring in the business. You will also work cross-functionally and virtually with colleagues throughout the region.

Your main tasks will include:
You will support the ME in defining the strategy and closely monitoring its execution (KPIs, dashboard), supporting on critical project and often taking over the project management. Additionally you will build an overview and analyze the business unit with portfolio, productivity, FTE analysis, deal pipeline as well as KPI dashboards. You will manage and control his/her costs, FTEs and budgets. This is done in close collaboration with various functions and the EMEA Strategy & Operations unit. Together with the ME, you will be responsible for creating structure in the team and building up a sense of community across the locations (blogs, EES) as well as running the regular team meetings including agenda management and follow-ups. You are a power point crack and will prepare the ME for both internal (EMEA MT, RMT) and external (panels, speaker engagements, clients) meetings. You will, on behalf of the ME, be the go-to person for ORM, Governance, GIA, Risk and tax topics. Additionally, you will take on initiatives/projects for the markets and push them through to completion.

You are an outstanding team player who can navigate ambiguity, planning & steering, FTE and cost metrics, community management for the client teams, preparing your Market Executive for internal and external meetings, ORM / Governance / GIA and tax topics, support with initiatives as well as driving transformation in your unit.
