About the Role
Are you a University student and do you want to work part-time in IT? We have an opportunity for you! Join our Integration squad and work on interesting projects with experienced colleagues.
Your role in our InsightFI project will be to implement new screens and validations in cooperation with Asset Management Finance squad. As it is mature application, we also want you to help our clients with application troubleshooting as well as explanation of implementation details.
You will make those changes end-to-end with help from AM Finance squad or your buddy.
Occasionally there might also be an opportunity to work on Integration squad top product – information broker system which we extend to support also Azure.
What will you do in detail?
- Develop InsightFI screens and data validations
- InsightFI application uses ZK as UI framework, Spring and Hibernate on the backend
- Create, update, manage Oracle database objects
- Handle infrastructure updates, improvements around InsightFI web application
- Supervise and check InsightFI operations
- Assist in resolving defects that occur in InsightFI
- Interact directly with users of InsightFI – investigate how things work, usually by checking in source code and database and explain this to the clients

We support core applications – be it information broker or market data cache. We work in scrum mode and working with enterprise solution. We learn on the go – e.g. now extending our services for Azure based applications.

- You are a university student in the 4th or 5th grade of your studies
- You will use mostly Java and Oracle database so basics in Java and SQL are required. First experiences in UI development even better, but not necessary.
- Would be great, if you already did some applications in Java
- You are independent and self-motivated – you can do things end-to-end and feel ownership for that
- Most importantly you are willing to learn new things, be it in Azure or DevSecOps
- You are fluent in English
Personality:
- You enjoy interacting with people
- You like to understand problems and work to some degree independently on solutions
- You do not hesitate to ask when you need help or explanation
- You like working in an intercultural and international team environment
