Embedded within the CIOO Middle Office team, you will become an Investment Analyst for the Asset Management Chief Investment Officer's Office (CIOO), who is responsible for the Group's investment strategy - aiming to efficiently utilize global financial markets to offset the risks associated with the insurance and reinsurance contracts written by Swiss Re Group. In this role, you will get a full end-to-end overview, learn all about SR's investment process, and gain a high level understanding of many AM back and front office activities.

Together with us, you will be the person driving the implementation of CIOO investment decisions, whether affecting, asset allocation or risk budgeting. You will play a crucial role in facilitating successful implementation of these decisions by utilizing your knowledge of the market landscape, systems and processes, and by coordinating efforts of various AM teams. This role gives you the opportunity to take on further responsibilities depending on your skills and on-the-job development.

Your main activities will mostly evolve around the following:
• Build and maintain the portfolio and risk pillar infrastructure by managing data in master data systems and cooperation with system administrators
• Oversee the evolution of risk exposure managed by SR Asset Management
• Validate actions which affect our portfolio (market value moves, interest rate/spread sensitivity etc.)
• Prepare and coordinate asset transfers/business shifts between investment portfolios belonging to external or internal Legal Entities
• Collaborate with external and internal counterparties with regards to implementation and calibration of investment benchmarks
• Assist in creation of reports detailing Swiss Re's investment position across business segments and legal entities
• Participate on, and help drive fulfillment of CIOO's ad hoc requests
• Raise system or data issues and coordinate their resolution as they arise
• Use your creativity to come up with efficient solutions for our clients
• Maintain process policies and procedures to demonstrate good governance
