About the Role

As a Front-end developer in iptiQ, you will be working closely with business analysts, client and product owners in a multicultural environment to deliver front-end part of the business/functional features.

You are encouraged to participate in the solution design, and lead the development and implementation phases. You might be required to build high-level system diagrams, carrying out a robust code review and continually improving the project delivery lifecycle.

In your role you will:

- Use iptiQ Digital platforms to implement & adapt functional requirements.
- Document the code according to agreement with the team and development standards.
- Provide post-production support including fixing bugs and defects as well as resolving technical issues experienced by users.
- Work in collaboration with the agile team and continuously try to gain more knowledge technology to help you excel.
- Evaluate the functional requirements and provide efforts estimates.
- Provide technical competence and advice to business analysts and other colleague.
- Ability to represent development team in technical meetings with partners and provide technical advice in your area.

Personality requirements and skills

About You

Mandatory requirements:

- BSc. or MBA/MS in computer science, engineering, information technology.
- Minimum 1 year experience working in agile digital product development environment, e.g. Web applications, software applications...etc.
- Minimum 1-year practical experience in JavaScript & React.
- Familiar with microservice architecture concepts.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Enzym & Jest.
- Proven experience in all application tiers - user interface, client / server integrations & applications, backend integration & procedures and Experienced with CI/CD pipeline such as; docker, OpenShift, GitLab &.
- Familiar with cloud computing (AWS and similar).
- Ability to understand the requirements and be able to build & document solution designs.

Nice to have requirements:

- Sound knowledge working with Java, Node.js, TypeScript, .Net, Sitecore, Jenkins, code commit, databases (AWS RDS / Postgres, MySQL) is a great advantage.
- Understanding of solution design and IT architecture.
- Experience working with Insurance, banking or finance related sectors.
