Job description, responsibilities and duties

To strengthen the team we are looking for a Project Manager. This role will develop project scope, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring planning and implementation feasibility, and will make sure that plans are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. In this role you will act as key person within OPD to help us drive key human capital projects. Additionally this role act as local leader to our team of 8 Solution Specialist.

This responsibility encompasses the use of advanced stakeholder management skills required for gaining official buy in and support for OPD/HR initiatives group-wide. The role requires sound understanding of business needs, commercial 'savviness' and the ability to translate key concepts and ideas into business language that is precise, easy to understand and impactful.

In this role you will act as key person within OPD to create a clear overview of key project deliverables, milestones and stakeholders in order to enable the team to plan and coordinate resources and deliver in timely fashion as required.

In summary, your main responsibilities will be:
• People leadership – act a mentor, coach and role model to the team of Solutions specialist
• Clear articulation and conceptualization of key project deliverables including development of project business cases
• Ensure alignment of content creation and simple solution execution
• Be able to lead project teams for start to finish and insure that key milestone are kept
• Create, manage, update a clear project overview to ensure proper managing of deliverables and deadlines
• Creating/ writing precise and business relevant documents and presentations
• Translates OPD/HR 'jargon' and ideas into client language
• Collaborates and manages stakeholders across OPD, HR and the Business to achieve project execution.
• Creating perfectly styled and visualize documents and presentations

Organisation & People Development (OPD) is an HR department that provides thought leadership and allows change through innovative, simple and effective solutions enabling leaders to unleash their people's potential. Within OPD we deal with Strategic Resourcing & Talent, Performance Management, Employee Engagement & Inclusion as well as Leadership Effectiveness and Learning

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in similar positions with experience in the people development area.
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university required; a sound conceptual understanding of Human Resources activities (ideally Organisational Development) or MBA is a clear plus
• Experience in managing a portfolio overview of a large number of projects and managing/ coordinating deadlines, deliverables, stakeholders etc. is an absolute requirement
• Experience/ strong track record in issuing presentations, writing papers for different audiences in English language; detail requirements:
o Advanced English with excellent grammar and spelling skills
o an eye for detail and be very accurate in their work
o imagination and good visual sense
o good IT skills, including knowledge of word processing and design programs
o leadership skills and the ability to be diplomatic and fair
o Experienced with social media marketing and online and offline channels
• Strong analytical, conceptual and organizational skills and highly proficient in navigating in matrix organisations
• Strong interpersonal, intercultural, communication and presentation skills
• Your experience includes working in an international environment, collaborating in virtual teams. Previous Experience/ exposure to Organisational Effectiveness topics such as on boarding, Executive Search Relationship management, employer branding, D&I, Internal mobility and innovative sourcing trends and strategies are a clear plus
• Language skills: native English speaker. Considering the global and multicultural environment of company and function any further language is a clear plus
