As part of our team, you will be directly involved in closing the reinsurance deals with our external clients - insurance companies and brokers.

By establishing strong collaboration, you will become a trusted partner to our client facing colleagues (facultative underwriters), who originate and renew the business with our clients.

Whole administration of this end-to-end process will be in your hands.

This includes:

•Acting as a partner for Facultative Underwriters
•Data entry, data gathering, analysis & research
•Collaboration with client facing staff and other internal departments
•Product specialization (property, casualty & special lines)
•Involvement in risk assessment and modeling, opportunity to work with reinsurance costing tools
•Active participation in projects, initiatives
•Occasional business travels to other Swiss Re locations

We are dynamic and engaged team of more than 30 Business Coordinators directly working with facultative underwriting teams based in Zurich, Munich, Bratislava, Paris, Madrid and London. We aim to expand our reinsurance knowledge, develop professionally and provide excellent service to our stakeholders.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Microsoft Excel - Advanced
Microsoft Word - Advanced
Microsoft PowerPoint - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

- Required education: Secondary School and/ or University education (Ideally in the area of economics / business administration)
- Language skills: English fluent, and French or German fluent
- Previous working experience is an advantage, however suitable also for a graduate
- MS office package ( Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Solid analytical skills
- Can do attitude
