Purchaser

The Purchaser is responsible to source and purchase components, consumables and services required for the business. Perform other duties as per requests of superiors within agreed job competences. Behave according valid external and internal policies, safety and environmental rules.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Analyze and develop market knowledge on the defined local commodity(s)
- Constantly evaluate defined local commodity(s) suppliers and items portfolio and identify areas of improvements
- Study and evaluate different improvements alternatives
- Negotiate and contract best alternatives
- Implement and sustain contracts
- Actively search for cost saving opportunities
- Cooperate cross functional leading to success of customers, both internal and external
- Actively participate in SWEP central sourcing initiatives
- Master the global purchasing processes
- Adhere and deploy the global SWEP sourcing strategies
- Upon request, participate or lead projects
- Deploy the Dover agreements
