Job description, responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Manager, Global Workforce Planning and indirectly to Manager, Global Payroll, the successful candidate should have multi-country payroll, benefits and fringes/taxes principles experience for salaried, hourly and commission employees. He/she will manage processing monthly regular payrolls with external payroll vendor, as well as other special payments in a timely and accurate manner. The candidate must be well organized, efficient, resourceful, and have an adaptable and positive service attitude. Candidate should be highly flexible and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
What can we expect from you:
Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maximizing efficiencies, maintaining operational standards and adhering to organization policies and procedures
Perform payroll audits by utilizing custom reports from Workday (and/or other software); independently identify and resolve payroll errors
Partner with Human Resources Business Partners on payroll related matters across all Europe
Troubleshoot with our Payroll provider regarding payroll issues
Act as a liaison with all Government agencies/Tax authorities as well as benefits suppliers when this impact payrolls and assist with internal / external audits
Research and interpret payroll legislation, tax laws to ensure government and reporting compliance
Monitors and keeps abreast of developing and new payroll legislation
Provide timely response to inquiries from HR, finance, managers, employees, government, and other third-party agencies
Configure payroll reports utilizing Workday custom report as required; create, modify, and utilize spreadsheets to administer various payroll transactions; conduct payroll analysis as required
Perform quarterly tax audits
Reconcile saving funds, loans and other third-party remittances
Perform annual audits
Streamline payroll procedures – make recommendations, document, and implement ad hoc tasks
Review and prepare G/L journal entry reports for all European offices
Other duties/projects as assigned

4 – 7 years’ experience of multi-country payroll administration in Europe
Strong financial acumen and payroll knowledge preferred
Proficient Excel user with ability to reconciliation data quickly
Experience with Workday or other HRIS system
Certified Payroll Professional or Fundamental Payroll Certification preferred
Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented
Absolute integrity and a high level of professionalism to handle the confidential aspects of the work involved
