Job description, responsibilities and duties
General:
The Claims Management Analyst reports to the Senior Manager Finance Operations and will play a key role in the Credit Collection Department Europe, in the review and resolution of retailer customer claims.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Manage Customer Claims received via e-mail or through vendor portals
• Define nature of claim and liaise with respective teams in Supply Chain department to investigate and collect supportive documents.
• Liaise with Credit Collection department to raise Credit Notes for authorized claims.
• Dispute with Customer unauthorized claims.
• Organize information collected to determine root cause and corrective action.
• Partner with key stakeholders to provide data to minimize impact of service failures
• Develop key metrics and reporting to evaluate chargebacks, prepare regular reports on Claims by status (open, deducted, processed, disputed, reimbursed) by type of claim.
• Have the ability to evaluate the nature of chargebacks and provide guidance to a diverse group of stakeholders (order management, logistics, credit& collection etc.) to improve operational performance and minimize costs
• Knowledge of customer specific requirements
• Liaise with HeadQuarter in Toronto
• Manage projects as assigned
