We are looking for a Product Owner for one of our teams creating cloud-based solutions. You will serve as the customer proxy responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholders—including other POs—to define and prioritize stories in the team backlog.
During Iteration Planning PO is the primary source for story detail and priorities and has the responsibility of accepting the final iteration plan. You are expected to collaborate with the team to detail stories with acceptance criteria and examples in the form of acceptance tests. The PO is the only team member who can accept stories as done. This includes validating that the story meets acceptance criteria, that it has the appropriate, persistent acceptance tests, and that it otherwise complies with its Definition of Done (DoD).
While PO is not expected to drive technological decisions, he/she is supposed to understand the scope of the upcoming enabler work and collaborate with System and Solution Architect to assist with decision-making and sequencing of the critical technological infrastructures that will host the new business functionality.
Product owner is one of the most visible team members both internally and externally. Therefore, you need to demonstrate excellent communication skills. You should be able to represent your team when needed in front of product management and other stakeholders.Mandatory skills:
• Working experience with at least one project tracking tool (e.g. Jira, Jazz)
• Experience with working in agile environment
Optional skills:
• Education and/or certification in an agile framework (e.g. SAFe)
• Background from construction or building management (software) projects
