Application Security Specialist in Healthcare domain

Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an Application Security Architect to work in the Healthcare IT sector in Bratislava.

Your tasks will be the following:

• Support creation of a service for static code analysis based on HP Fortify to teams of Healthcare IT
• Provide consultation in eliminating of weaknesses identified in accordance with current IT Standards by proposing changes from source code to software architecture
• Continuous analysis of threats and weaknesses to develop improved software security concepts
• Creation of application security guidelines and integration of those into the relevant operational and development processes
• Continuous improvement of know how in the field of application security
• Accompany/support the implementation of suggested measures to ensure that IT Security is part of the ongoing process

The job will require international traveling.

Required education, skills and personality requirements

Required education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization
Computer Science, preferably with a focus on Information Security

Language Requirements
English - advanced
Knowledge of German language is highly beneficial

Personality requirements and skills
Professional skills:
o Multi-year experience in field of IT security, preferably designing software security solutions, in corporate environment if possible
o Good understanding of client-server-architecture and web-applications (based on Javascript or other scripting languages), would be beneficial
o Solid knowledge of technical and organizational aspects of information security
o Good understanding of intrusion prevention in IT systems, networks and applications backed up by knowledge of theoretical and practical methods, e.g. threat analysis, penetration test, etc
o Hands on experience in IT administration
o Ability to clearly communicate and present technical topics
o Ability to consult in technical and management-related matters

Personality requirements and skills:

o Must be able to work in a team environment
