Job description, responsibilities and duties

SIA Central Europe is offering a position of AP Accountant that will perform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions (including T&E).

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Preparation of AP invoices and T&E claims for further processing in line with SKGAAP and company policies
• Registration and accounting of AP invoices and T&E claims
• Preparation of payment runs and payment orders
• Verification of payment matching & monitoring of payments
• Administration and analysis of vendor and employee accounts
• Processing GL entries related to assigned area
• Communication with business partners, employees and vendors
• Monthly review of AP subledgers and reconciliation of assigned GL accounts
• Month- end and Year-end closing activities
• Preparation of assigned statistical reports
• Preparation of supporting documentation for audits
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues

Wage (gross)

1 100 EUR/monthStarting from 1100 € - our salary offer will depend on level of expertise of candidate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Double-entry bookkeeping - Basic
Invoicing - Basic

Personality requirements and skills

• knowledge of accounts payable
• knowledge of general accounting procedures
• experience with Oracle ERP is advantage
• 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to communicate in English
• Analytical thinking
• Time management
• Excel intermediate
• Ability to analyze month to month data development and explain variances
