Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are building a Compliance team and are looking for a Compliance Officer to support activities in the Risk Governance area.
We are responsible for defining and implementing the risk governance system and the related management processes, in addition to defining and managing the compliance system to prevent risks of non-compliance with regulations and standards applied in the company. We are accountable for compliance with the Privacy Policy and are dealing with Privacy matters within the organization. We maintain compliance of internal rules with local legislation and are responsible for the implementation of local programs, policies and procedures e.g. in AML and others if applicable. We are assessing compliance with best-practice-standards and ensuring in close coordination with other departments that risk mitigation activities are addressed and implemented.

Activities will be related to:
• Providing inputs and support towards executing the annual compliance plan
• Monitoring status of actual compliance risks within the company
• Coordinate/execute different reporting to various external clients requests
• Monitoring the status of Compliance Findings from Internal Audit or 3rd Party Auditors and their status of mitigation
• Monitoring whether the business is operating according to applicable regulatory requirements, policies and procedures
• Executing the activities coming from monitoring and testing plan and reporting the issues
• Promoting risk culture within the company e.g. via training
• Supporting Divisions/Departments in identifying the compliance risks of significant initiatives and services/products
• Implementing regulatory requirements to compliance policies, standards, processes

Wage (gross)

1 800 EUR/monthStarting from 1 800.-€ - our final offer will depend on the expertise and seniority of a candidate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Compliance, Non Financial Risk, Internal Controls, Internal Audit

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

• Background in Non-Financial Risk or Internal Audit or Compliance testing
• Result oriented and Independent in acting and decision making
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Willingness to learn.
• Fluent English
