Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* Manage the logistics of a project in execution, from procurement to delivery in accordance with contractual terms and conditions
* Define the logistic set-up during project life cycle based on: nature of supply, shipping constraints, packaging, Incoterms, payment terms, risks and mitigation plan in line with current processes
* Follow-up of suppliers to secure on time delivery
* Organize shipments from suppliers/warehouse to customers according to agreed contractual conditions, including packing, transport, customs formalities, certifications, insurance, etc.
* Anticipate and minimize any logistic risk before and during project execution
* Implement necessary actions to achieve project’s objectives and customer’s satisfaction
* Update associated IT tools & SAP reports to assure a good project monitoring

Personality requirements and skills

* 5+ years’ experience in logistic or transport is mandatory
* Good knowledge in international trade (INCOTERMS, transportation, customs, international contracts, insurances, certification, etc.)
* Interested in the supply chain within international projects
* Be strongly customer oriented
* Sense of responsibility and commitment
* Autonomy & multitasking
* Strong orientation and follow-up of internal processes & templates
* MS Office 2007 advanced, SAP is advantage
* Fluent English is mandatory, French is a plus
