Job description, responsibilities and duties
As an External Communication Partner you will in line with Roche strategy design, maintain and coordinate PR activities of Roche Slovensko to create and develop positive reputation and co-creates access strategy with external stakeholders. Works with External Partnership Lab (EP Lab) team to raise the profile of Roche Slovensko with key audiences, through integrated communications activities, aligned to our business strategy. You will support our purpose to connect people with our business focus inside and outside the organisation.
Key tasks:
• Create and implement external communications strategy, including key messages and content through effective channels according to company policy
• Take the lead in managing Roche’s relationship with all media; providing regular content and working with key publications to assess opportunities, collaborating with global and local subject matter experts within Roche.
• Actively cooperates within the EP lab to follow common vision and strategies
• Lead on the content strategy and development for Roche Slovensko website and social media channels
• Identify, evaluate and contribute actively to areas of public media debate of interest to Roche; ensure that Roche’s interests and concerns are represented within the debate
• Coordinate strategy with Access and Innovation teams to maximize the communication impact, provide strategic communication advice and support integrated campaigns for key products and disease areas
• Liable for press communication and first public contact
• Prepare and provide initial response to public media
• Works with colleagues to update legal and ethical guidelines documentation and ensures all PR/patient activities adhere to regulations.
• Manage issues/crisis communication for Roche Slovensko when necessary; working as part of the business continuity team and alongside global colleagues to define and implement our strategy to protect and manage brand reputation
• Manage agency relationships e.g. PR and media monitoring
