Search new suppliers, recommend new suppliers, recommend supplier development
Target definition with suppliers (quality, schedule, conditions)
Reduce low performing suppliers, increasing high performing bidders
Negotiate quotations
Support other departments in case of task-force or emergency
Define the strategy for the commodity (number of suppliers, nomination strategy, make-or-buy-information).
Leading a small team of purchasers
