Job description, responsibilities and duties
• As a PLM/IoT Developer/Support (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the development and support of PTC ThingWorx and Vuforia applications in scope of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• You will participate on analyzing business requirements in scope of PLM and convert them into a technical solution design.
• You provide IT support of Polarion including software installation, upgrades, and deployment of software packages, following integration tests. Support small developments in Polarion (e.g. Widgets).
• You use programming skills to provide a modern architecture and interface design of an application is second nature to you.
• You will define and document test scenarios and provide technical operational support for your developed applications in close collaboration with the central PLM team.

Personality requirements and skills
• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or an adequate qualification.
• You can rely on already well-founded experience in an industrial environment and you are familiar with PLM applications and databases, preferably PTC.
• You bring along a profound understanding of (web-based) IT systems and Linux as well as good knowledge and practical experience in at least one object-oriented programming language like Java/JEE, .NET, C# or similar.
• You have a high level of command of the English language and your strong communication skills allow you to be confident in interacting at all levels.
• You are characterized by a strong team spirit, your hands-on mentality, and the ability to solve problems independently and with a focus on results.
• You can rely on already well-founded experience in an industrial environment and you are familiar with PLM applications and databases, preferably PTC.
• You bring along a profound understanding of (web-based) IT systems and Linux as well as good knowledge and practical experience in at least one object-oriented programming language like Java/JEE, .NET, C# or similar.
