Kafka Data-Streaming and MQ Engineer /Implementator

We are seeking a Kafka Engineer who will be participate in unique project and will provide subject matter expertise in the deployment of Confluent Enterprise Kafka within organization.
- Responsible for design, engineering, testing, tunning and troubleshooting of Data-streaming platform Kafka and supporting Message Queuing (MQ) infrastructure
- Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions
- Create topics, setup redundancy cluster, deploy monitoring tools, alerts and has good knowledge of best practices.
- Deployment of infrastructure across multiple environments
- Process automation and new application on-boarding , applying CI/CD and DevOps principles
- Automation to build self-healing actions to prevent and resolve incidents, including automated failover
- Provide troubleshooting and best practices methodology for development teams
- Assist developers with on-boarding and integration of new Kafka topics and projects
- User guide development and training overviews for supporting teams
- Design monitoring solutions and baseline statistics reporting to support the implementation
- Level 3 support for development teams that are utilizing the platform
- Planning and execution of infrastructure projects as well as on-boarding of new application development projects

- 5+ years of experience as the Unix/Linux Systems Administrator
- 3 years of professional experience in Kafka Admin or experience in implementing some data-streaming solutions
- Expert in multiple operating systems and/or middleware technologies (Websphere/Weblogic, etc.)
- Good understanding of infrastructure and related technologies - virtualisation, AWS (or other cloud solution), configuration management tool – Chef/Salt/puppet/Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD understanding, be familiar with networking, security, database
- Experience with DevOps and software development tools such as JIRA, BitBucket, GIT, Confluence
- Strong knowledge with iterative SDLC processes such as Agile SCRUM, Kanban
- Good overview in programming languages (Java, Python, etc.) and experience in scripting
