Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Overall on site responsibility for entrusted operations & personnel (Paint Mix house, pre-treatment & electrocoat plant)
• Manage Tier 2 Suppliers relationships
• Reports to Paint Shop Manufacturing Manager
• Liaison daily with Paint Shop Manufacturing Manager, Associates, Maintenance & other on site 1st & 2nd Tier contractors
• Interface between Site Management & Service Supplier
• Maintain relationships & act in the best interests of the Company (Service Supplier) & the Customer
• Generation of Service Supplier and Customer Policy (objectives & target setting)
• Manage the team to ensure operation within the recognised customer 'lean operating' system guidelines
• Generation of all Service Supplier team agreed Roles & Responsibilities
• Health & Safety & Environmental compliance of all Service Supplier onsite associates
• Ensure compliance with all applicable Laws & Legislations in respect to all areas of Account Manager responsibility
• Employee selection, training, assessment, recognition & succession planning
• Ensure provision of effective manning & technical knowledge to satisfy both internal & external customer needs
• Ensure compliance with all applicable reporting procedures for both internal & external customer needs
• Ensure compliance with all applicable audit procedures (ISR, MQOS, TS16949, ISO14001, SPC, Fire etc.)
• Monitor product by product usages, cooperation and providing support for Purchasing review meetings
• Reporting as requested (8D, ...)
