Java Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a gifted software engineer to join our team. You will be delivering sustainable and scalable software solutions for Optotune’s desktop and cloud applications. You will play an important role in a team participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities:
• Develop software specifications based upon stakeholder inputs.
• Software development.
• Testing, documentation and release of finished products.
• Provide continuous support to existing software products.
• Participate in an agile team.
• Serve as a tech-lead on internal projects and guide junior colleagues.

We require:
• Professional experience in Java development using established architectural concepts and design patterns such as Redux.
• Strong understanding of microservice oriented architecture.
• Spring, Spring Boot – dependency injection framework.
• Experience in messaging (preferably Kafka).
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL based database systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles such as unit and integration testing.
• Experience of UI concepts (REACT/ Angular).
• Continuous integration.
• Desire to challenge conventional thinking.
• Excellent knowledge of English (Advanced).
