Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Play a vital role in creating new, innovative and compelling next-generation of web-based Design Tools.
• Work across organization and technical boundaries to work with software developers, IC designers, business unit system/application and marketing engineers.
• Create numerical / mathematical model and algorithms of power electronics and analog semiconductors and program them in object-oriented software languages.
o Alternate: Develop mathematical models and algorithms to design and simulate switch-mode power supplies and other analog systems.
• Drive unique and compelling value into the application roadmaps and product definitions.
• Performs electrical, thermal calculations for a given designs in MATHCAD, design and execution of numerical simulations PSPICE (SIMETRIX / SIMPLIS preferable) or MATLAB.
• Embrace learning of new technologies, methodologies and approaches.
• Support the BU in building their business cases for new products by collecting relevant market data from the field.
