Junior Database Administrator

The incumbent would be part of DBA team responsible for the administration of all database servers and databases deployed globally. The role is also responsible for providing data management operations to ensure the security, quality, performance, and accessibility of databases. The candidate must have experience with Oracle 11g/12c database server. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL is a plus.

Responsibilities:
• Database support and issue resolution.
• Implement the technical procedures, standards and security for databases.
• Creation/cloning of database instances for development and testing purposes.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the databases.
• Database backup/restore activities.
• Research and apply patches as required.
• Participate on project development teams by testing and implementing database tables, stored procedures, triggers and constraints.
