Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The successful candidate will prepare new projects as well as to implement projects, assist with the tasks related to program design, project development and management and other activities aimed at the strategic development of the organisation. He/she is expected to bring independent ideas which may be accommodated to the program strategy of the organisation. Projects are wide ranging and include social economy, employment, policy development and working with disadvantaged groups in society including persons with a disability, youth, 50+ . There is the likelihood that some international travel may be required for this position.

Main tasks:
•Involvement with the planning, preparation and implementation of the specific program pillars
•Assist with funding identification, drafting, management and budgeting of projects
•Participation in the production and dissemination/marketing of policy papers and program documents as required
•Assist with the design and possible implementation of specific social enterprise`s activities
•Organise activities including meetings, conferences, seminars and visits
•Write articles for the EPIC web side and prepare reports for stakeholders as required
•Liaison with the relevant partners in the field of employment policy and social economy
•Research information on the topics related to EPIC programs and contribute to the writing of new projects to deliver services to the community.

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications/Skills/Experience Required:
• University degree, experience from a foreign university is considered highly
• Previous experience working in or managing EU projects, project management
• Proven interest in issues related to public policy, social inclusion, social economy and
employment policy
• Excellent written communication skills, with analytical capacity and ability to synthesize a
variety of information for the preparation of quality program documents
• The ideal candidate is creative, enthusiastic, well organized, promoting “can-do approach”,
with excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to share and learn and be part of a cohesive team environment
