Supply Chain Manager

• Build a robust and global high-volume supply chain for our factories today in Switzerland and Slovakia
• Strategic development of material, equipment and service supplier and mid-term additional operational planning functions
• Build and lead a small but effective global team of supply chain specialists and buyers
• Develop, improve and implement all related supply chain processes in cooperation with peer departments
• Management of strategic and operational purchasing including definition, implementation and further development of the purchasing and procurement strategy
• Global Sourcing: Identification, evaluation, selection and assessment of new and existing suppliers and production partners including execution of audits
• Responsibility for the procurement of production materials (optical, mechanical and electronic components/assemblies) and capital goods as well as services
• Ensuring the short and long-term availability of materials for a strong growing company and supply requirement
• Independent contract negotiations and conclusion of framework and supply agreements with national and international suppliers
• Responsibility for the procurement budget and the realization of the company's procurement goals together with the purchasing team
• Reports to VP Global Operations of our consumer business NEXTLENS
