Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a qualified developer, interested and experienced in Python programming to join one of our development teams in Kosice. You will be part of the international team working in agile environment, responsible for development of new functions, new applications, functional enhancement and maintenance of a set of back-end applications. The back-end applications are Python based, running on GNU/Linux.
You will be responsible for:
• Review of requirement and design specifications
• Perform “proof of concept” for new developments
• New applications and features development
• Support and interact with testers
• Support and tutor less senior colleagues
• Bug hunting & fixing

• Python 2.7 or higher
• Python Web Frameworks – Django, Flask
• Distributed Task Queue Frameworks - Celery, Kombu
• Python ORM Frameworks - Django ORM, SQLAlchemy
• PL/SQL
Databases
• SQL – relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Administration
• Webservers (Apache)
• Containers/Application servers (uWSGI, Gunicorn)
Development process
• Agile software methodology – SCRUM
• Continuous integration (Azure DevOps)
• GIT versioning
Other
• Willingness to learn new technologies
• Design Patterns
• Knowledge of GNU/Linux
Language skills
• English - advanced (both written and verbal)
