Windows Engineer (mid/senior)

We are searching for Windows Engineers to join our team, responsible for:

• Upgrading and updating Windows Server OS
• Managing administrative tools (CentralPark)
• Performing the engineering lifecycle functions of detailed LLD
• Implementation and handover to the production of a hosting technical solution in accordance with an agreed architecture.
• Following the Move to Production (M2P) process including checking that tools and documentation are up to date.
• Reviewing Site Survey report - to check 3rd party report and make sure that the migration will run smoothly.
• Regular meetings with the Project manager and vendors
• Handover to Operations

You are a great fit if you have:
• Experience with large enterprise IT environments
• Knowledge of Vmware (ESX/vsphere/vmotion).
• Understanding/experience with SAN storage mapping, backups
(veeam/dataprotector/netbackup).
• Understanding of MS licensing model
• Experience with server migration – replatform/rehost
• Experience in troubleshooting/root-cause analysis, assist the operations teams in more severe incident troubleshooting
• Ability to create accurate technical diagrams and documentation for hosting services
• Strong understanding of hosting infrastructure and hardware
• Knowledge of infrastructure protocols
• Provides specific detailed information for documented hardware and software
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Dependable and flexible when necessary
