Junior Software Tester

For our client- leading provider of cloud-based e-Commerce Intelligence and Data Quality Performance Management solutions we are looking for a talented test engineer to help our client deliver next generation platform. The Software-as-a-Service gathers data from across the web and turns it into actionable insights, which is visualized in a web user interface for client customers.


Responsibilities:

➢ Working closely alongside developers and test engineers in an agile environment with a focus on working to tight deadlines for software releases
➢ Develop and maintain test scripts for Functional & Non-Functional scenarios
➢ Creating high quality test cases, building and maintaining regression suites
➢ Accurately record and track defects, using approved defect tracking procedures, work closely with developers to achieve the resolution of those defects
➢ Build own knowledge base to enable comprehensive testing, including data input, for each functional area

Requirements:

➢ At least 2 years experience in QA, preferably in an Agile environment
➢ Strong understanding of QA principles, methods and processes along with excellent knowledge of testing methods
➢ Familiarity with Test Case Management and Bug Tracking tools, preferably Jira
➢ Ability to work in a self-organising team – working on daily tasks in close collaboration with your team, in a very fast paced environment
➢ SQL skills
