Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a leader who will be responsible to land Innovation programs in manufacturing site and lead Engineering organization responsible for capital investment in Bratislava manufacturing site. This position will ensure effective planning and execution of change programs as it relates to new and existing products, packaging and processes for a plant or cluster. At the plant level you will work on change management and innovation management capabilities.

You will:
  • Lead, coach and build Capability of the Business development (New product development) change coordinator(s) within the plant. They are key to drive change management and innovation on site
  • Support Site Strategic Plan / Annual Contract creation: Support the site director in developing the site strategy and site masterplan.
  • Be the key partner for Product Supply team on sourcing/capacity expansion programs – ensure full integration of Innovation/Renovation plans into site supply plans.
  • Lead Engineering and will be responsible to build the site Capital investment budget. Ensure planning of the capital budget bottom up, including prioritization (i.e. integration with the full site agenda, specifically alignment of the annual timetable)
  • Support business agenda and drive simplification agenda on site: Lead portfolio management on site and support the delivery of the site productivity and improvement agenda
  • Act as an contact for Commercial stakeholders and marketing. Be interface between the Business and Engineering / Manufacturing / R&D.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

  • Change & Innovation Management; Engineering/Supply Chain background beneficial
  • Strong & inspirational People Leadership skills
  • Experienced to work in a Supply Chain / Manufacturing environment while being very close to business stakeholders
  • Project Management experiences (not necessarily Supply Chain related)
  • Experienced in working internationally / in a multicultural environment
  • At least 5 years of team management experience
  • Experience to work in different functions in supply chain or even outside of supply chain is very welcome.
