Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- leads a regional team providing Level 2 support for the O365 Products around the world
- leads a team that receives and resolves incidents, service requests from end users either via the Level 1 services desk or via other contact channels
- delivers the required service in line with all documented service levels and other quality measures, using continuous service improvement methodologies to seek to improve the services at all times
- maintains and improves overall Office 365 Product performance for Business users
- reduction in incident volumes, and in particular High Severity incidents
- identify, solution and implement root cause fixes to production problems
- execute service requests and design and implement automated solutions
- provide advice and guidance to end users to enable them to use the O365 Products affectively and thereby to maximise their productivity
- ensure data integrity and security at all times
- maintain Office365 service stability
- ITIL fundamentals are applied to all relevant processes including Incident and Change Management
- providing Office 365 product and technical advice, acting as a Subject Matter Expert.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Personality requirements and skills

- strong broad understanding of the Microsoft O365 Product suite and environment
- previous experience working with O365 Products including 1-2 years in an end user support leadership capacity.
- strong technical knowledge and understanding of Office 365 Products including Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint and Onedrive
- working knowledge of other O365 Products also required eg Flow, Stream, Sway, Forms, Whiteboard, Delve, To-Do etc..
- working knowledge of Powershell scripting, Active directory and Azure
- experience with Microsoft Windows operating system environment
- good working knowledge of ITIL methodologies
- experience working with ServiceNow or similar service management platform is plus
- strong leadership qualities, able to act as a role model and manage collective delivery to agreed corporate objectives
- self-starter, committed to meeting and exceeding individual and team measures and targets
- good time management and strong written and verbal communication skills
- customer service focus
- excellent written and verbal English language
