Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Operational responsibility for internal Private Cloud
- Managing the instances of the cloud infrastructure services and servers
- Maintaining multiuser computing environment as per the requirements of the organization
- Realization of robust, automated infrastructure
- Administrator will have to develop, configure, implement and manage the systems that comprise the underlying cloud platform
- Independent implementation of various scripts and tools for automating virtual infrastructure in the private cloud
- Working with and support of the development of automated build and deployment processes of Linux and Windows based systems and assistance in applications and their configuration
- Support and administration of development, test and production systems, and the daily operation of Linux and Windows Server systems
- Error analysis and correction on the systems (installation and configuration issues) based on operating systems and assistance for application operational support
- Participate in the evaluation of, install, support and administer relevant tools used to provide infrastructure automation and cloud integration solutions
- Design, create, validate, and maintain templates, blueprints, playbooks, and modules for configuration management and infrastructure deployment tools

- 4+ year of Experience with Linux in enterprise environment is mandatory.
- Experience with RHEL/CentOS
- Experience in Linux System Administration or Windows System Administration, Infrastructure Automation, or Cloud integration engineering position
- Engineering degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical field
- Technical understanding and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge in a modern, object-oriented programming language (Java, C
) and in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Perl)
- Basic knowledge with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Deployment tools like Puppet, Ansible and Git
- Knowledge of installation and administration of Linux/Windows systems
- Knowledge of Networking and firewall technologies
- Basic knowledge of database systems and middleware systems (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere)
