Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* The analyst role is responsible for the analysis of the forecast, budget, actuals and business dynamics. The analyst is responsible for interacting with the business units and geographies on the forecast, actuals, budget and business metrics. The analyst is responsible for the development of forecast and budget variance analysis and provides business assessments on an on going basis. The analyst design, prepares, and presents detailed analysis of business issues and recommended solutions to senior management.
* Working within largest Service business and providing financial advisory services to Strategic Outsourcing organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of end-to-end financial services including all aspects of revenue and cost management, forecasting and planning. As a member of the contract management team, you will exercise substantial influence to ensure that the financial objectives of the contract are met. In addition, as a senior member of the finance & planning team, you will be expected to show a high degree of proactivity, innovation and collaboration.
* Responsibilities:
* - overall resopnsibility for cash cycle, invoicing and revenue recognition together with respecting revenue recognition rules and assisting in all aspects of cash collection.
* - exercise strong communication skills to influence the business in all aspects of profit maximisation.
* - ensure that the business is fully informed at all times.
* - deep cost analysis, coupled with an enquiring nature and determined approach to minimize cost.
* - ensuring overall financial management in line with contractual obligations.
* - modelling/what-if analysis in support of business development strategies.
* - identification of risk, impact analysis and recommendation of alternatives for mitigation.
* - oversee / provide guidance to junior members of the Finance team.
* - show leadership in the over-arching Finance centre strategy, and contribute to a climate which remains fresh, exciting and motivational.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Financial or Economic faculty
University degree in finance, accounting or economics

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- university degree gained at Financial or Economic faculty or university degree in finance, accounting or economics
- knowledge of financial process and accounting principles, including revenue recognition, accruals / deferrals and business controls, (preferrably Sarbanes Oxley)
- strong logical and analytical skills together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work across boundaries applying a problem solving approach and also good organizational and time management skills
- the candidate needs to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
- fluent English (preffered: business level usage) in both written and verbal form required
