what will you do

Your responsibilities will be:

Report to the Tower Lead to support the Lenovo Services business to map out end to end processes for all leasing business within Lenovo at a world-wide group level. The role will orchestrate closely with various finance functions, business units, geographic and functional strategy teams across Lenovo
• Work with the accounting practice team to create and implement accounting policy and processes to respond proactively to support the strategic direction of the Business including the creation and maintenance of a “Blueprint” accounting entry document for each of the leasing structures.
• Design, influence and implement policy in line with Group strategy
• Partner with internal financial services to agree processes with external funding partners.
• Provide input where requested by the Team Lead to ensure deals are entered into with proper governance, controls, and approvals from impacted business units.
• Support the Lenovo Business to partner with the technical accounting practice team in the application of accounting policy to proactively support the strategic direction of the Business
• Identify, document, and implement ongoing end to end Accounting process improvement with an aim to drive standardization and efficiency, redesign processes through simplification and drive productivity
• Set up corporate knowledge repository to drive effective and efficient knowledge sharing of finance & business policies, best practices, standards, and guidelines across the organization
• Issue financial reporting guidance and interpretation to ensure consistent application of the standards across Geos and BG in day-to-day operations
• Participate in global transformation projects and initiatives and implement changes in Finance operations in line with project plan
• Work collaboratively with cross domain counterparts to develop detail project work plans, risk mitigation, issue tracking and communication plan
• Develop and deliver presentations to audiences ranging from business line stakeholders to executives
• Business partnering with internal tax teams in various geographies to understand any specific in country tax legislation that may add additional complexities and design a solution to ensure sales can continue to be pursued.
• Business partnering with Financial Controllers in each geography to improve accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting capability.
• Business partnering with Sales Architect to ensure potential accounting and finance complexities understood with each of the suggested sales structure before any go live date.
• Liaising with IT design specialists to ensure system capability for all EaaS transactions and reduce the level of manual intervention required. Suggest enhancements were necessary.
• Training and mentoring local geography accounting staff in accounting for EaaS transactions, including balance sheet reconciliations and monitoring pipeline for potential deals
• Become involved in other ad hoc accounting projects to support the business as a whole

From 2 350 EUR/monthBase gross monthly salary from 2350EUR, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings.
