Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Executive Assistant provides executive level administrative assistance that facilitates the effective and efficient operations of the office of the Principal of the LEAF Academy, to LEAF and LEAF Academy board and executive leadership (further referred as “the Board”).

Besides of other responsibilities she/he is responsible for:

- Establish excellent working relationship with the Principal and the Board and Staff organization, and members/leaders in verbal, written, and electronic correspondence.
- Manage the daily operations of the Principal’s office in a manner consistent with administrative direction, Academy policies and procedures and requirements of the law.
- Provide the Principal and the Board with updates and information necessary for their efficient operations.
- Help facilitate board discussion and self-evaluation by collecting, analyzing and presenting information capturing key elements of LEAF Academy operations.
- Exercise independent judgment to organize activities, resolve issues, and respond to requests for assistance related to Academy operations.
- Manage different projects and project details through timely completion and required follow-up.
- Provide administrative support to the Principal and the Board of Directors
- Coordinate activities of the Board of Directors and provide administrative assistance, including research and document preparation, in a manner that supports effective decision making, facilitate the work of the board, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintains their calendar by scheduling activities, meetings and individual appointments.
- Travel and Visa arrangements for Principal, Board, and expat teachers (flight tickets, accommodation, ground transportation, etc.)
- Organize meetings and events on and off-campus on a regular basis and special events as required.
- Coordinate communication and activities/events with members of the Board and other Stakeholders.
- Create mailings, presentations, reports and other materials for the Principal and the Board members
- Data collection and analysis, incl. regular updated of the 3LB learning board
- Act as liaison for Principal and Board with Academy staff, student representatives, parents, community members, and outside organizations.
- Represent the Academy, the Principal and the Board in interactions with individuals and groups with diverse points of view in a problem-solving manner that demonstrates respect for all parties.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
