Job description, responsibilities and duties

Hiring Specialist attracts, evaluates and recruits qualified candidates who fit to LEAF values for various positions and seniority levels. She develops short-term and long-term hiring plans, advertising open positions and sourcing candidates both online and offline e.g. during career days. She oversees all hiring stages from sourcing to onboarding. She continuously looks for best sourcing channels including job boards, professional social networks and careers pages. She coordinates internal hiring process.

The main challenge will be to 2-fold:

1) attracting people who currently do not apply to LEAF (e.g. business scale up/fast growing organisation experience, online experience)

2) building hiring capability internally; building systems and recruiting skills internally

Besides of other responsibilities she/he is responsible for:

- Oversee all hiring stages from sourcing to onboarding
- Advertise open roles on various channels including job boards, professional social networks and LEAF careers page
- Coordinate LEAF internal hiring process
- Screen resumes and application forms based on LEAF values and 4C’s organization skills
- Interview candidates via appropriate ways – phone, video, personal interviews
- Track key recruiting metrics like time-to-hire and source of hire to improve hiring process
- Organizes training for Area leaders related to selection and hiring min. once/year to improve selection process + proposes improvements for current hiring process
- Reach out to potential candidates and build relationships for future job opportunities (for example via LinkedIn or email)
- Manage hiring tool (Nalgoo), inputs from all involved colleagues, evaluate inputs and actively participate in decision making process
- Is responsible for the referencing process when required
- Active participation in staffing needs for the organization
- Host or participate in job fairs
- Promote LEAF company as a great place to work
- Employeer branding – creation, approval from senior leadership and follow up
- Role descriptions - makes sure that are in place and up to date for all positions in the organization

Personality requirements and skills

Work experience as a Hiring Specialist, Recruiter or similar role, ideally in fast growing/scale-up environment
Being able to evaluate not only skills of candidates, but also fit to culture based on values of the organisation
Experience with targeting the right audience and creating strong talent pool for the organisation
Experience with Human Resources Management Software and Applicant Tracking Systems
Familiarity using social networks to post job ads and source candidates
Knowledge of labor legislation is not a must, but huge benefit
Experience with international, senior management and expert recruiting is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Good time management skills with the ability to juggle various open positions
Multitasker with strong hands-on attitude, able to handle various complex projects simultaneously
