Job description, responsibilities and duties

Known as the 'knowledge behind the numbers', Financial Analysts are considered to be trusted business advisors, working within IBM’s business units and geographies, as well as in a myriad of specialized corporate functions. IBM's finance organization is instrumental in driving innovative improvements to global financial processes while providing measurable value to the business.

Your Role and Responsibilities :

- Regular interlocks with delivery team (cost review)
- Regular interlocks with finance team, direct support for country CFO
- Weekly calls on CEE level about revenue and cost position
- Follow-up from these meetings (check actuals in more details, prepare forecast for next period, clarifications about some cases, deeper analysis of the problematic cases, etc.)
- Regular account reviews (different customers)
- Ad-hoc corrections & regular monthly bookings in GLUI
- BOND approvals
- Prepare forecast for OU & RSOP (rated services)
- Post-closing reports – revenue, cost, GP
- Creation of departments in GUDA
- Create bridge PV (Elemental spend values) vs. Actuals
- Provide comparison of the results – QtQ, YtY
- If needed creation/update of allocations
- Labor rates calculation

Closing (WD1 - WD4):

- Check actuals & create reports (for revenue IPPF vs. Actuals and for costs Elemental spend vs. Actuals per category e.g. hardware, software, etc.)
- Present the cost/revenue results during CEE call (prepare bridge – what you expect in next days to be final position, prepare the view of opportunities and risks)
- Follow-up on questions from the call – e.g. investigate if the benefit/hit on costs/revenue side is timing or not, or if some correction is needed, etc.
