Job description, responsibilities and duties
Main activities:
- drive the implementation and maintenance of Java web based interfaces and applications
- be part of several smaller/middle sized projects related to enhancing and maintaining several backend and enterprise applications
- cooperation with the solution architects and the application architecture team in Germany
- implement solutions based on standard approaches fitting into existing platform
- implement requirements based on the given standards,
- create/test the implemented functionality and provide support for the system test/roll out phase
- key player in communication between German and Slovak TEAM

Basic requirements:
- University education - minimum Bachelor´s degree
- Fluent knowledge of English language is a MUST
- Knowledge of German language is an advantage
- Experience in programming/software developing min 2 years
Technical skills
- design services / applications and develop distributed, highly scalable, efficient, and fault-tolerant custom-developed ERP system using Java technology
- deep/expert knowledge preferably in several following technologies:
Java EE: Spring, Hibernate, JasperReports, Web services (Axis / Axis2), JDBC,
Application servers: Tomcat/JBoss
Languages: XML, XSLT, HTML, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, SQL
- developer know-how on relational databases (Oracle preferred)
strong background in developing applications with graphical user interfaces (GUIs)
- experience in taking the projects from the requirements phase to the
delivery phase using the full software development life cycle
