Warehouse & Logistics Manager

For our production plant in Nova Bana we are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. The goal of the position is to organize, monitor and coordinate activities related to the storage and loading of finished goods as well as the transport of goods to external warehouses and locations. The purpose is to fulfill the sales plan/forecast while keeping the costs at the assigned centers according to the annual plan and to deliver a high standard of customer service.

Main activities and responsibilities covered by the position in various fields are:
• Controls, manages and improves processes related to the storage of finished production in all warehouses with respect to:
a) Sectoral storage
b) Depreciation of finished production – it´s minimization
c) Optimal use of warehouse space and FIFO
• External warehouses:
a) Cooperates in the selection of the supplier, submits proposals for the selection of suppliers
b) Is responsible for costs of external warehouses, handling and transport costs
c) Is responsible for proper storage of the finished goods
• Responsibility for the loading department:
a) Organizes the loading operations in the most optimal way possible
b) Plans and organizes 100% use of time windows
c) Optimizes the use of transport and loading means and the use of the staff
• Is responsible for optimal pallet management
• Responsibility for the logistics department:
a) Supervises the functionality of the TISYS system (TIFLOW, TICAP and TISLOT modules)
b) Negotiates with transport suppliers, acting as a contact person for the company.
c) Is responsible for ensuring the compliance with suppliers' contractual terms in road, rail and container transport in accordance with the sales plan and with the aim to obtain sufficient amount of transport means at reasonable prices while attaining the required quality of service and supporting the sales plan fulfillment.
d) Participates in negotiating favorable contractual conditions and prices
e) Controls the fulfillment of contractual conditions
f) Plans and reviews the transport costs
• Other topics:
a) Is responsible for planning, compliance and control of costs at the assigned centers
b) Participates in KI projects in the relevant fields
c) Coordinates loading activities with KI logistics
d) Is responsible for processing and timely delivery of standard reports and analyzes
e) Is responsible for the fulfillment of HSE tasks in accordance with applicable legislation and requirements of KI
f) Determines the scope of responsibilities and duties in the area of HSE for subordinate employees
g) Is responsible for the CI activities, implementation of the CI tools and the whole status of CI at the assigned centers
g) Plans the development of the subordinates
