Commission Analyst

What you will do
The Commission Analyst works in a multi-disciplinary team of other peers and is responsible for report development and preparation, analysis, preparing the input to financial presentations and other projects requested.  This function acts as support of critical organizations of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.
 
The Financial Reporting and Analysis Analyst function reports into the BT&S, Finance Organization and works closely with the business operations and finance staff across Johnson Controls.
 
How you will do it
  • Develop, standardize and automate business focused financial and performance reports using reporting tools
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
  • Provide real time ad-hoc analysis
  • Support harmonization of financial structure and reporting
  • Support financial quarterly forecast, annual budget and outlook processes
  • Work with Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports
  • Collaborate with various counterparts such as Shared Services Center to ensure accuracy, reliability and timeliness of analysis and reporting
  • Understand drivers of financial results
  • Support local and SSC accounting teams with closing activities
What we look for
Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or equivalent experience in Finance
  • Fluent in English
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (joint formulas, conditional formatting, pivot tables, data mining)
  • Strong customer and business orientation and desire to develop business acumen
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Ability to work with unstructured data
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Essbase and Hyperion
  • VBA skills
Salary compensation starting from 1650 EUR/month gross (plus a monthly bonus) based on relevant experience.
