Finance Rotation Program Associate

What you will do

Johnson Controls Building Technologies & Solutions is currently looking for highly motivated Finance Associates to join our 2.5-year Finance Rotational Program within our Bratislava Business Center in Slovakia.

How you will do it

The Finance Rotational Program is an intensive 2.5 year program that develops young finance talent into future finance leaders at Johnson Controls. Program participants rotate to new positions every six months in order to gain an overall understanding of the accounting and financial responsibilities within Johnson Controls as well as get exposure to the various business models within the company. Rotations are primarily based in Bratislava, Slovakia, but there are opportunities to complete one or more of the six-month assignments internationally. Program participants are also encouraged to take on additional work assignments outside of their day-to-day responsibilities to gain further knowledge and build their network within the organization. Johnson Controls will provide training modules to improve your personal and professional development and additionally, participants are mentored by members of our Finance Leadership Team and are prepped to take over challenging business finance roles upon completing the Program.

 

 

What we look for

Required

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related Business or Economics degree
• 2-5 years of relevant finance work experience
• Strong interpersonal skills: Communication, Listening skills, Problem solving skills, Decision making skills, Assertiveness
• Mobile and open to relocation
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential

Preferred

• Pursuing an MBA degree, CPA, ACCA/FCCA will be a plus
• Finance work experience, preferably Big 4 or equivalent
• Any additional European language on at least conversational level will be a plus
• Proficient IT Skills – Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint – ERP knowledge iScala/ Oracle – Knowledge of HFM/ Smartview will be a plus

Salary starting from 1900 EUR/month gross (plus a monthly bonus) based on relevant experience.
