We are looking for a Procurement Manager to be based in Püspökladány.
As a Procurement Manager, you will report to the Regional Supply Chain Manager.

 

Job Purpose & Scope
* Lead a SC organization with an extensive range of materials / products and advanced SCM programs and systems.
* Implement SCM strategies, ensure supplier relationship management, consistent delivery,implement SCM programs and optimize purchasing activities.
* Manage the plant SCM team which can consist of Procurement Coordinators, buyers, etc.
* Guarantee availability of the requisite internal and external suppliers for current and future regional needs, as well as their development and supply in terms of quality, promptness and economical cost.
* Metrics: Financial results (savings, rebates, TWC), Operational metrics (p2p metrics, VMF), Program metrics (usage, penetration), (internal) customer satisfaction
* Revenue scope: > 10M USD

Key Responsibilities:
 

Business & Financials:

* achieve the Supply Chain objectives, in terms of savings, rebates, process improvements, preferred supplier, development, working capital
* ensure alignment between the business areas and the Supply Chain organization
* drive procurement optimisation and efficiencies through the business in line with European and regional initiatives, including a review of existing practices and develop a strategy to structure the purchasing activity to maximize commercial benefits
* review the existing supplier base to optimise leverage
* own, maintain and continuously improve supplier performance measurement processes and the procurement processes in line with European initiatives
* manage key supplier relationships, manage tactical buyers supporting the procurement of materials and manage transactional teams
* lead the commercial negotiation and re-negotiation of a range of contracts in line with good practice and corporate directives
* support SCM aspects of new business development, including selection of suppliers, defining commercial approach and writing proposals
* represent the company at client meetings and presentations in the business development process.

 

People & Organization

* Recruit, hire and retain staff, Build teams following the company's HR policies and standards and provide coaching, development and motivation

* Prepare and deliver clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development plans for direct reports
Position Requirements:

* Education in economics or engineering or equivalent through experience.

* Experience (3+ years) in a SC department, with a proven track record in managing, implementing and executing SCM strategies and programs improving bottom line results
* Good communication, influencing and negotiating skills with leadership team in a complex organization as well as with external suppliers.
* Experience in the area of technical products (e.g. building Industry, project management, HVAC, Control equipment, electrical and electronics) is a requirement
