Plant Controller

Adjust balance sheet accounts and review journal entries
Ensure fiscal and tax audits are done properly & in accordance with corporate standards and legal requirements
Explain and present financial statements to corporate and legal
Prepare and own all financial forecasts done by the plant on quarterly base
Support plant management in financial decisions
Be involved in labour efficiency reporting and management
Summarize capital expenditure plan for plant
Decide on capitalization of assets
Interact with program controller & CBUs in program managment and launch
Apply for and manage capital grants
Verify fixed assets inventory and request adjustments
Prepare, develop and review financial budget and forecast on daily base
Develop financial planning and budgeting work instructions at plant level
Execute money transactions, manage relationships to banks, tax & finance authorities,
Implement standard costing model in plant, active cooperation with central team in costing model for new products
Cash flow management (simulation of strategies, planning, approval of payments)
Active cooperation with central Treasury
Month End Closing, reporting results to corporate, explanation of all variances on P&L, responsible for achieving all the plant finance targets and fulfilling all the tasks
Stock optimalization, cooperation with logistic team
Purchasing department under scope of finance controller (at least minimal knowledge about purchasing is required)
Cooperation with JV partner in USA, reporting of results, shares monitoring and booking,
Finance responsible for custom clearance, cooperation with custom office in case of audit
Support strategic and daily decision making
Motivate and supervise finance team in the plant

Education: University of Economics
Job experience: Experience in the similar position min. 1 year
Language skills: Slovak – native speaker, English - active
PC skills: MS Office, SAP.
