Internal Quality Leader

OPPORTUNITY
This role support Crossfunctional teams with Technical and Problem Solving skills within JLR Operations of Complex Quality Issues affecting Internal Metrics.

RESPOSIBILITIES
• Lead Senior 5F Process (Agenda setting; Management of Review and Actions)
• Lead Complex Problem Resolution within Manufacturing Function (supporting cross-functional teams)
• Obtain and analyse data from internal data sources to support problem resolution
• Champion ‘Best Practice’ Problem Solving / 8D Process, and coach cross functional teams in application
• Identify Process improvements for all workstreams under direct control
• Support Vehicle Quality Manager (Lead Supervisor) with requests for any associated work streams

CANDIDATE
Essential:
• Experience in leading teams within in an Automotive Manufacturing High output environment
• Good statistical and numerical reasoning skills
• Ability to collect, collate and communicate data effectively to all levels within the Company
• Ability to lead Cross functional Teams
• Competent user of MS Office, Word, Power Point & particularly Excel
• Proven Problem Solving Skills, using data to analyse and report Performance KPI´s
• Experience 5 years minimum in similar role
Desirable:
• Familiarity within automotive manufacturing certification processes
• Experience in quality management process and operating systems
• Open to change and the new technologies
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement tools
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• Enthusiasm, drive, commitment and the confidence to achieve goals with minimal supervision
