STA Senior Engineer

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

● Manage supplier process and part development and introduction to support delivery of excellent quality and on time launch of vehicle projects
● Manage and continually challenge supplier performance for new model production preparation which supply production parts into our vehicle plants
● Manage productive relationships with internal stakeholder and suppliers’ representatives to ensure all supplier manufacturing process related APQP deliverables are met
● Collaborate with key stakeholders to maximise Supplier Technical Assistance influence and ensure alignment with Purchasing and CCDS/PCDS processes and policy
● Lead and develop the ongoing capability of all team members and associated department processes and activities to maximise efficiency and effectiveness
● Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
● Check project steps and deadlines of supplier in case of transfer whole production and logistics to new supplier.

Essential:
● Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering gained at engineer or management level
● Problem solving management (8D, PPS, CCAR…)
● APQP management / phased PPAP / PSW / eCAR / Gauge R&R study / Capability study
● A proven leadership track record in a manufacturing or technical environment
● Broad experience of managing external stakeholder and supplier relationship management
● Excellent stakeholder management and relationship management skills and experience
● Able to manage and execute complex projects on time and within budget
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse at all levels of the organisation and with external
suppliers/customers
● Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

● Automotive background
● Cabin – plastic parts (injection mould, injection mould 2K), wrapping
● Experience with Production / Final assembly / EOLT
