PVT Engineer

The Project Engineer function within PVT Core is a multi-disciplined role that provides key services to the PVT quality improvement activities. It provides support to PVT Management in aspects of project management and reporting
functions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide presentation material to support various Product Quality reviews (PQRs, DQRs and VLQRs)
• Manage various multi-functional projects to deliver current vehicle scorecard objectives including "top 100" issues progress tracking.
• Manage complex Engineering Change introduction.
• Current Model Quality Operating System (CMQOS) & Manufacturing Quality Operating System (MQOS) - Adherence to and development of said processes including support and leadership of multiple process improvement projects
• Overall responsibility for the development and upkeep of the PVT Web Site
• Act as the focal point of knowledge for the TS16949 audit compliance for the PVT dept
• Act as the PVT engineering focal point for support of multiple Plant Quality meetings and working sessions.

• English: written and spoken.
• Good communication skills & networking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essential
• A resilient character and a strong desire to deliver against targets under pressure with minimal supervision.
• User of structured problem solving (8D & DMAICR) processes, data analysis and statistical analysis, preferably six-sigma min. Yellow Belt.
• Ability to create a climate in which respect, trust and mutual support are an integral part of working together
• Experience in a mass production engineering environment (Automotive preferred)
• High level of IT literacy
