The Wind Noise Launch team is responsible for the prevention of wind noise issues in launch and current vehicles, the role also links heavily into forward model team where lesson learned are captured.
- Support Vehicle Engineering quality manager to deliver flawless launch/current car issues from wind noise perspective
- Support the multi-functional team
- Work with the Manufacturing Co Leader to ensure all issues are resolved
- Link to the Core wind noise team for information and support
- Monitor all internal wind noise measures, and investigate issues
- Support solution development with engineering and manufacturing
- Attend audits and reviews as needed for wind noise issues
- Understand leak paths and support wind tunnel
Požiadavky
- Engineering degree
- Good team player, able to lead a cross functional team to identify and resolve wind ingress design and manufacturing issues
- Advanced knowledge of English
- Background in general engineering methods and standards
- Experience of problem solving tools
- Creativity and innovation
- Knowledge of expansion materials
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of BIW sealing technologies
- Knowledge of wind noise testing
