Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’ working with software developers and software engineers
- Developing and maintaining mission-critical information extraction, analysis, and management systems
- Working on ways to automate and improve cloud based environments and processes
- Performing incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered
- Providing direct and responsive support for designated areas
- Uses open source technologies and tools to accomplish specific use cases encountered within the project
- Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem with a custom workflow
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats

- Understanding and professional experiences with Cloud automation concepts and best practices
- Experience with infrastructure design and automation with Public Cloud Technologies
- Overview of cloud only, hybrid but also on-premise architectures
- Practical experience with CI/CD concept, containerization and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Practical experience in scripting (Python, Ruby or Bash) or Terraform
- Experience with Automation technologies (e.g. Ansible)
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with monitoring and alarming technologies, preferably Grafana
- Independent, responsible and solution-oriented working style
- High dedication, initiative and strong communication and team skills
