Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for another member to our team focused on IT infrastructures supporting customers in multinational environment.
As a part of our local team of up to 16 senior engineers and part of datacenter virtual subteam of up to 6 people, you will be responsible mainly for maintenance and monitoring of virtualization systems and data storage systems, troubleshooting and error correction.

Personality requirements and skills
• Degree in computer science, communications engineering or a comparable apprenticeship with practical experience in an ICT environment
• Extensive experience with:
- VMware vSphere (6.5+) environment (ESXi, NSX), automation (vRealize Orchestrator), monitoring (MRTG, Nagios, Grafana)
- configuration and implementation of virtualization systems and data storage systems from various manufacturers (Pure Storage, EMC, Hitachi, Netapp)
- managing SAN data repositories
- problem analysis of operating systems and solutions to improve operating performance
- cooperation on automation and software defined datacentre projects
- creation and maintenance of system documentation
- handling of corporate processes and requirements in Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration Management
• Understanding of principles of networks, storages, databases, virtualization, computing, middleware
• Understanding of DR and HA concepts
• Ability to implement overall network infrastructure within multinational network
• Experience in handling ticket and monitoring systems
• Very good command of spoken and written English
• Excellent customer and service focus as well as team skills
• Safe to handle ITIL service processes
• Self-contained and well-structured way of working
• Willingness to travel
• Hands-on mentality, holistic thinking, team spirit, reliability and a high level of service orientation
