General Ledger Team Lead

PURPOSE
You will be part of a new finance center supporting IQVIA’s reasearch and commercial services accross Europe. Our team is currently growing further in order to support more countries and business activies. You can be part of this growth.
At this role you will be managing a team responsible for the accounting & reporting according to US GAAP and statutory reporting support for multiple countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Full responsibility for US GAAP accounting for multiple legal entities including reporting and respective analysis, statutory closing & reporting
• Leading a team of accountants, oversee quality of work and performance
• Effectively manage and develop team members, lead by example
• Coordination and oversight over annual external audit and key contact for internal and external auditors
• Ensure operational compliance with local and group policies and internal control framework
• Support tax manger in preparing tax provisions and transfer pricing reviews
• Work with outsourced tax advisors on tax and statutory filings
• Preparation of statistical reports and financial statements
• Transitioning of general ledger tasks to finance service center •
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong communication skills – effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and relevant local language(s).

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant or ACCA certification is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (in a multi-national company preferred).
• Experience in leading team
• Availability of travel if required, up to 10%
Min. basic wage 2,700 EUR gross / monthly BASED ON EXPERIENCE
