Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Establishment and maintaining the effective internal control system and its compliance
- Preparation of internal directives / methodological guidelines within tax and accounting area
- Completion of monthly / quarterly / annual GL accounts and reconciliations for assigned entities
- Preparation of financial statements and reports for management and shareholders
- Leading the process of consolidation and transition to IFRS
- Preparation of supporting documentation for tax authorities
- Commenting on contractual documentation from the tax and accounting point of view
- Monitoring current legislative changes within tax and accounting area and their implementation
- Preparation of statistics and documents for an auditor or accounting and tax advisor
- Identification and evaluation of process improvement possibilities
- Preparation of accounting support evidence for the projects
- Preparation and monitoring of cash-flow projections
- Being a business partner for selected projects
- Support on controlling and close activities and other ad hoc requirements or projects.

University degree in Finance, Accounting or related Business and Economics degree
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Advanced (C1)
Other knowledge
Microsoft Excel - Skillful
Experience in the position/sector
Minimum of 2-4 years of work experience in audit or senior accounting
Personality requirements and skills

- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in audit or senior accounting
- Understanding of financial reporting, financial statements, workflow and internal controls
- Good communication skills
- Adherence to deadlines, own initiative and ability to work under time pressure are a must
- Fluent English written and spoken
- ACCA certification is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
