Students Relations Manager (Košice)

We are looking for a new employee who would support students at UPJŠ Košice. There are approximately 30-50 new students arriving to Košice each September who need help settling in and approximately 200 other students who need occasional assistance. The responsibilities will include support with search for accommodation, preparation of city tours, accompanying students to institutions such as banks, medical centers, etc. Most of all the person should understand the foreign policy rules, paperwork necessary for temporary residence permit and other legal documents. The person will be in charge of regular fun activities for students and applicants. Since the work will be with international students, excellent command of English is a must. The job is a part time position (a few hours a week), with a demand for extra hours during high season (September / October). The new employee will be in regular contact with our manager in Bratislava.

His / her main duties shall be:
• Acting as a contact point / helpdesk for students at UPJŠ Košice;
• Offering support to new students arriving in September – accommodation issues, medical checks, insurances, opening bank accounts, city tours, etc.;
• Handling all the necessary paperwork with the Foreign Police, especially for students coming from outside of the EU;
• Organizing fun activities for students;
• Marketing and use of social media;
• Preparation of presentations, marketing materials and other texts relevant to company´s activities;
• Work under the Manager in Bratislava.
